We are looking for an Application Delivery Manager for one of our clients based in Montréal. This is a permanent hybrid position.

Reporting to the Director of IT Delivery, the Application Delivery Manager collaborates closely with business units and external partners to ensure the selection, operation, evolution, optimization, and support of applications used in the company’s business activities within a multi-project environment. As the guardian of application sustainability, this role requires attentiveness to stakeholders and users to ensure an optimal level of usability for all applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop strong partnerships with business units and promote the use of applications to create value across the company.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes by leveraging new or existing business applications.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and the prioritization of initiatives to be implemented.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to business units to support their technology initiatives.
  • Create internal project plans and manage project activities in collaboration with internal resources and external partners.
  • Plan and oversee project activities to ensure the successful delivery of business applications.
  • Actively contribute to each stage of projects to ensure compliance with budget, timelines, and established standards for business applications.
  • Maintain strong communication with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure engagement and the smooth execution of projects.
  • Actively participate in the development and execution of quality controls.
  • Document project activities and business application deployments in accordance with governance rules.
  • Work closely with the IT infrastructure manager to ensure optimal alignment between business solutions and the supporting technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with IT customer service to provide them with the necessary knowledge to support users.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

 

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in operations management.
  • Professionalism and the ability to foster constructive team energy.
  • Recognized as an excellent relationship builder, a strong communicator, and skilled at generating collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • High level of rigor and organizational skills.
  • A drive to simplify users’ work.
  • Creative and eager to develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
