Responsibilities :

• Produce preliminary analysis files for projects and play a leading role during their start-up;
• Evaluate the scope and complexity of functional files;
• Translate functional requirements into system requirements, design and present proposed solutions;
• Design and document test plans and scenarios based on documented requirements;
• Work with business experts, developers and quality assurance analysts to ensure that functional specifications are aligned with business needs and are understood by everyone;
• Participate in the creation of test data;
• Execute functional test scenarios;
• Validate the quality and integrity of the data;
• Report and document appearances of anomalies/inconsistencies in documented system requirements;
• Participate closely with software analysts and designers to diagnose anomalies;
• Regularly report the progress of the work;
• Support testers and users during system acceptance testing;
• Ensure that functional documentation is kept up to date.

Requirements :

• Mandatory – Ability to lead requirements gathering workshops
• Mandatory – Ability to identify the modules of a system and carry out their functional breakdown
• Mandatory – Ability to clearly and precisely document functional specifications based on business requirements
• Asset – Mastery of a method for writing functional requirements (use case or other method)
• Asset – Mastery of Quality Assurance (concepts, practices, testing tools/test monitoring)
• Asset – Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PLSQL databases
• Essential – 15 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years of experience in functional analysis
• Essential – College or university diploma in a relevant field
• Essential – Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French and English)
